Let’s Meet The Founder TaMekka LaChe
TaMekka LaChe is the Founder of PamperMeGlam Cosmetics. She is a Licensed cosmetologist and Mua with a disability. Bahamian decent, but born & raised in United States in Pittsburgh pa. She works very hard as a content creator on social media. She doesn’t let her disability stop her from being creative doing makeup.
Her craft is very unique and she loves glitters & she loves everything that sparkles. PamperMeGlam Cosmetics is a brand that everyone will love to try. TaMekka grew up being picked on and teased by people because she was a tall ackward female that just wanted to fit in and it caused her to be in a deep depression state as an adult and she was diagnosed with Rhuematoid arthritis which confines her to a wheelchair but, that didn't stop her from becoming an inspiration to others. She turned her depression into a craft by doing makeup and loving it. She always says that You can achieve anything no matter what. TaMekka said,"I believe if you have a disability, or if you feel like you're not beautiful, you are no matter what the world says."
HER MAKEUP JOURNEY
TaMekka has been in the beauty community for over 15 years for doing makeup. She first was just playing with it on some of her hair clients for their birthdays, weddings, prom, etc. She wasn't that great at first, but then she started to watch YOUTUBE and started practicing on herself every day for about 4 years. She wanted to get better at it, Now it's been 5 years later and she is doing amazing work on her craft and she loves to use glitter and she loves colorful & soft glam looks. PamperMeGlam is a brand made for men & women who like to wear makeup and be creative. PamperMeGlam is a movement to build up your confidence in creativity with great quality products.
PamperMeGlam Cosmetics was named and created by TaMekka & Her daughter Martajah ( who passed away with her battle with lupus Jan.8th 2025.) TaMekka devoted her life by continuing to make PamperMeGlam a momentous milestone for her daughter and herself. PMG will continue to live Martajah vision for the company to accomplish its mission for individuals with disabilities and chronic illness and inspire others that they are beautiful and deserve to be recognized.
